Winning Rupert finished unplaced as an odds-on favourite in Saturday's Magic Millions 3YO Guineas and has featured in the Stewards report.
Winning Rupert finished fourth behind Flying Jess as the $1.65 favourite with jockey Jeff Lloyd telling stewards the colt travelled well however, he was concerned inside the 100m where the colt changed stride that there may have been something amiss.
A post race veterinary examination revealed the colt to be slightly short striding in the near foreleg.
The Bjorn Baker-trained Winning Rupert was examined by Racing Queensland vets on Thursday who noted the three-year-old to be "slightly short striding in his near foreleg" but was cleared to run following an inspection on Friday morning.
In other Stewards news from the Gold Coast meeting Robbie Fradd was suspended for 12 days for causing interference aboard Most Important in the sixth race, the Magic Millions Cup (1400m).
Fradd's suspension will commence at midnight on January 18 and expire at midnight on January 30.
Micheal Hellyer was suspended for 11 days on a careless riding charge aboard Feltre in race four, the Magic Millions Trophy (2200m). Hellyer will commence his suspension at midnight on January 15 and expire at midnight on January 27.
