Buy Turangga and Buy Yourself a Winner

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 11
The Magic Millions Yearling Sale continues today and Turangga Farm will offer the half-brother to MM 2YO Classic winner Falconic and a stunning colt by champion sire Redoute’s Choice.

Stuart Ramsey has no doubt this year’s Turangga Farm draft is right up there with last year’s which has already produced Magic Millions 2YO Classic runners Falconic and Tiara Star as well as Champagne Cuddles, winner of the $150,000 ATC Pierro Plate.

"We’ve had a great run with our two year-olds this season and it’s terrific to have the two runners in the race in Falconic and Tiara Star,” said Stuart Ramsey, who bred and sold former brilliant filly Karuta Queen to win the MM 2YO Classic in 2011.

"We’ve had five two year-olds off the farm run before January and they also include Kang’s Eye, who was second in the Gimcrack Stakes and Garrard, who has been placed at Moonee Valley and Doomben at her only starts.”

Six yearlings are still to be offered by Turangga Farm, who sold five from five on Wednesday, and they include siblings to both Falconic and Tiara Star.
