Fastnet Fever

Tara Madgwick - Monday January 9
With 10 winners in the past seven days and 30 in the past 30, champion sire Fastnet Rock has zoomed to the top of the leading Australian Sires list by winners and is a fast closing third on the Australian General Sires List.

Fastnet Rock has 29 entries for Magic Millions, 15 of them colts that are sure to be in hot demand given the titanic battle going on in the second season sires division between his star sons Smart Missile and Foxwedge.

His fillies are stellar and include the full sister to Blue Diamond contender Catchy (click here to read about her) and this gorgeous filly below, who is a half-sister to dual Group I winner and $1.5 million earner Miracles of Life.

Consigned by Coolmore as Lot 765
, she is the fourth foal of unraced More Than Ready (USA) mare Dazzling Gazelle, that was bought by US based Stone Street Holdings for $400,000 from the Teeley Assets Dispersal in 2014.
