Though she is out of an imported American mare, One Funny Honey (USA) (by Distorted Humor), One More Honey's pedigree is very familiar in these parts.
Making just two starts as a 4yo, finishing runner-up in an Aqueduct Maiden, One Funny Honey (USA) is out the Bluebird mare Lan Kwai Fong, winner of the Group III Vanity Stakes and runner-up in the Group I VRC Oaks and Group II Wakeful Stakes.
Purchased for $250,000 at the 2006 Keeneland September Yearling sale, One Funny Honey (USA) was back in the same sales ring four years later where she was purchased by Patinack Farm for $40,000.
With the demise of Patinack, the daughter of Distorted Humor was knocked down to Emirates Park Stud for $50,000 at the Patinack Dispersal in 2014.
She was carrying One More Honey at the time of her sale.
Retained to race by Emirates Park, One More Honey was making her career debut.
She has a yearling half-brother by Lope De Vega (IRE) and a half-sister by Dream Ahead (USA) who was born on September 30.
After making a slow start to his stud career at Vinery, Onemorenomore was transferred to Ridgeview Park Stud in 2015, which coincided with a flurry of winners.
