Widden
Stud's Group I winning Fastnet Rock son Your Song posted his second winner on
Monday with an easy debut victory for two year-old filly Hope Ya Don't Mind.
In a field of three for the 1000 metre maiden at Echuca, the John McArdle trained filly proved
much the best, moving clear to win by nearly two lengths with the favourite
Watego's Beach a distant third.
A $40,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Redgum Racing from the Booralie Stud
draft, Hope Ya Don't Mind is the first winner for County Tale, a half-sister by
Tale of the Cat (USA) to stakes-winner Magic Marvo.
The current yearling from County Tale, a colt by Foxwedge, will be offered by
Booralie Stud at the 2017 Inglis Classic as Lot 415.
Hope Ya Don't Mind is the second winner from just six starters for Your Song,
who has also sired Warwick Farm place-getter Memento.
Your Song has 13 entries for Magic Millions and also for Inglis Classic with a
further seven for Inglis Premier.
