Adrenaline Winner MM Bound

Media Release - Tuesday November 15

Success rolls on for Brisbane based syndicators Adrenaline Thoroughbreds whose exciting filly Champ Elect was an impressive debut winner at Doomben on Saturday November 5.

Warmly supported into odds-on favouritism, the eye-catching daughter of Choisir was a little green in the run home but showed great heart chasing down the leader, putting her nose out right where it counts!

Champ Elect - Darren Winningham"She really knuckled down," said Adrenaline's Paul Bita who was proud not only of Champ Elect's victory but also of her behaviour on course.

"For a young horse having her first race day experience she was nothing but professional. It was a warm day with a big crowd and she took it all in her stride."

Patiently ridden by Damian Browne, Champ Elect was relaxed throughout the race, finding the line in the style of a filly with plenty more to offer.

"We are confident that she will be even better over a bit more ground as she matures," Bita said, "so to be able to win a sprint first up in town is an absolute bonus and we are very excited by her potential."

Champ Elect as a yearlingPossibly Magic Millions bound, Champ Elect was at the top of the Adrenaline list at that sale in January - a stand-out both on type and pedigree. She was secured for $95,000 from the draft of Attunga Stud.

A daughter of the ever reliable Choisir, she is out of the city winning Encosta de Lago mare Champalou whose dam Vouvray was ridden to a Queensland Oaks victory by Champ Elect's trainer Chris Munce.

Her trainer Chris Munce was full of praise for his exciting two-year-old.

"She is still learning what it is all about and she will improve a lot from that."

"She is a really nice filly with good ability. She is very strong and she will get further."

Munce was delighted to host a big group of happy Adrenaline owners enjoying a memorable day out.

"There are lots of owners and lots of friends!" he laughed.

Such as a delighted John Lundberg.

"To see Champ Elect win first up in Saturday grade was outstanding. A massive thank you to all the team at Munce Racing and Adrenaline."

Adrenaline Thoroughbreds, who have recently also cheered on Archytas who won two in a row at the Sunshine Coast (as well as the promising gallopers Social Conquest, Son Of A Brut and Supersay - whose value has increased with the VRC Oaks victory of her half-sister Lasqueti Spirit), have shares available in a select group of well related youngsters including an Excelebration two-year-old and fillies by Poet's Voice and Toorak Toff.

A great deal of research goes into Adrenaline's yearling selection process which takes into account pedigree, type and potential - working hard to ensure they are buying the best possible options within a budget for their clients. The young syndication company is proud of its success to date (their very first purchase being the speedy dual city winner Epsilon) and their clients are happy too - Adrenaline offering superior levels of communication coupled with regular stud, stable and track work visits.
