Fresh
from purchasing four top class mares destined for Australia at the 2016 Fasig-Tipton
November Sale, SF Bloodstock and Newgate Farm were in buying mode again during
the first session of the 2016 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale securing
the fourth highest priced mare on day one.
They bid $1.5 million to secure 2013 Group I Darley Alcibiades Stakes winner,
My Conquestadory, a daughter of highly successful shuttler Artie Schiller, who
is the sire of Newgate Farm's latest stallion acquisition Flying Artie.
The 5-year-old mare was consigned by Lane's End as Lot 21 and was in foal to
champion sire Tapit in her second season at stud having produced a colt foal by
the same sire this year.

"A very beautiful mare," Tom Ryan of SF Bloodstock said. "A fantastic race mare
in foal to the best stallion in the country. She's a gorgeous mare. She is most
likely going to go to Australia (and be bred to Newgate stallions) Capitalist
or Extreme Choice."

$350,000, Lot 127 Ben's Duchess for $350,000 and Lot 61 Sky Treasure for
