Darby
Racing have had an amazing run with star filly Yankee Rose and enjoyed a smaller
success at Gosford on Thursday with a progressive daughter of So You Think.
Talented filly Too Fast For Love showed her hand early for the Bjorn Baker
stable when finishing fourth to subsequent dual Group I winner Extreme Choice
in the $500,000 Inglis Nursery last December.
Having her second run back from a spell in the 1100 metre maiden, she showed good
speed to cross from an outside gate and kicked on strongly to win by a long
neck.
An $80,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Darby Racing from the Glenelg Park draft,
Too Fast for Love is the third winner from three foals to race from Group III
placed Testa Rossa mare Vecchia Roma.
She is the seventh Australian winner this season for So You Think, who has two
runners in the $1.5 million Group I VRC Victoria Derby on Saturday in So Si Bon
and Inference.
