As a half-sister to Group I ATC Randwick Guineas winner Ilovethiscity, this I Am Invincible filly has talent and pedigree on her side and now a victory on the resume having saluted at Doomben on Wednesday.

Lipstick Lover as a yearlingFourth, second and third at her only three previous runs, the Tony Gollan trained Lipstick Lover was favourite for the 1350 metre maiden and raced accordingly.

Allowed to find her feet by Robbie Fradd, she surged to the line from off the pace to win by a length.

A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase for B2B Bloodstock/ Blue Sky Bloodstock from the Yarraman Park draft, Lipstick Lover runs for Sylvana Surace, whose husband Ricky operates B2B Bloodstock.

The last foal of her dam, who died in 2013, Lipstick Lover is the eighth winner for terrific producer Kensington Rose, who comes from the celebrated Sweet Time family of Group I stars such as Lonhro and Lankan Rupee.

Lipstick Lover continues a remarkable run of success for Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible, who has been averaging over a winner a day for the past month and is now throwing down the gauntlet to Not a Single Doubt and Snitzel to be the leading sire by winners.
