A maiden winner last preparation and not beaten far in stakes races, the Gerald Ryan trained Suspenders won first up at Warwick Farm last month and continued the good work to beat her stablemate Diddums by a short half head in the 1250 metre Benchmark 67 event.
A $450,000 Magic Millions purchase for Gerald Ryan/ Jadeskye Racing from the Bell View Park draft, Suspenders has won three of six starts earning upwards of $90,000 in prizemoney.
She is the second winner for smart juvenile winning General Nediym mare Fairchild, a daughter of Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Dancer's Joy.
Fairchild had a great result at the 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale where her colt by Choisir made $560,000 to the bid of James Harron Bloodstock and has since been named Faeger.
Fairchild (pictured below) was snapped up at the Inglis Broodmare Sale by Paul Willetts for the Unencumbered Syndicate and will foal to Shooting to Win.
