When
you watch your new 2YO having his first trial and he leads by four, wins by
nine and runs the fastest of the morning you're entitled to get excited.
Such was the case with Not A Single Doubt colt Condor Heroes who put himself at
the top of the tree for the morning with a brilliant performance to totally
outclass his opponents and do it in such a way that any concerns about the
quality of the opposition scarcely mattered.
The Gerald Ryan trained colt went straight to the front for rider Tim Clark,
railed up like a professional and charged down the straight like a real
racehorse.
On the line the margin was called 9-1/4 lengths and the time of 50.52 just
shaded Conservations 50.54 as the best of the morning.
Not A Single Doubt had a real break out year last season finishing second on
the sires table which included 13 two year-old winners.
Condor Heroes is out of More Than Ready mare Gosetgo, who has left Singapore
winner Chen Bay from two to race so far.
He was offered at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in the draft of
Riversdale Stud, selling for $190,000 to Sun Bloodstock.
