China Horse Club have become major players around the world in bloodstock and their colt Bowerman looked smart winning heat one for colts and geldings.
Bowerman as a yearling
Bowerman had the most early pace and led into the straight before holding off a determined challenge from Sulaymanee and in fact was doing it quite easily on the line.

He is by Snitzel out of Sabanci (Encosta De Lago), a half-sister to Hong Kong star Green Birdie and from a family which includes Onemorenomore and Casino Prince.

Bowerman was offered at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, selling for $525,000 too China Horse Club.

Snitzel had a record breaking year with his jueniles last season, siring 29 individual winners.
