The First Official Two-Year-Old Trials of 2016 – Brought to you by Newgate and Super One

This year's first official two-year-old trials held at Royal Randwick on Monday, September 19th will be officially brought to you by Newgate's new super-fast stallion, Super One.

Super OneThe trials will kick off at 9:30am on Monday with twelve scheduled heats, with many of Sydney's major stables set to showcase their most precocious youngsters.

The trials are an important indicator of talent with the last three colts to win the Golden Slipper all coming through this set of trials.

Super One embodies sheer two-year-old speed and precocity as a Champion two-year-old trained by Michael Freedman who was undefeated in four starts at two.

Trainer Lee Freedman commented Super One was, "…as fast an entire as I've ever trained – he's got enormous speed.” Click here to watch him run!

In conjunction with the trial sponsorship, Newgate will be offering two free nominations to Super One; one for the dam of the colt that wins the trial in the fastest time of the morning and one for the dam of the filly that runs the fastest trial time of the morning. **

Super One stands his first season this year at Newgate for $10,000 + GST and has already received enormous support with over 150 mares already booked for the 2016 season.
