The Group I Del Mar Futurity winner Klimt provided a massive pedigree update for this foal by champion US sire Tapit.
Nice foal, eh? This little beauty was foaled at Sun Stud on 27 August and it's hoped she will fill some pretty big shoes one day!
The past two winenrs of the Del Mar Futurity, Nyquist and American Pharoah have both gon on to win the Kentucky Derby.
Klimt's Group One has seen the value of the filly, pictured, skyrocket and it has been an astute purchase given that Sun Stud snapped up Inventive for just US$80,000 at the 2014 November Breeding Sale.
Another half to the filly is the Group placed, West Coast Chick, while she is also closely related to Breeders' Cup Classic winner, Concern. From an Australian perspective, Champion 2YO, Mentality, shows up in the pedigree as well.
The filly's sire, Tapit, is North America's leading sire for the past three seasons, is the leading sire of stakes winners in 2016 and stands at a fee of US$300,000.
