After
being tested more than once in stakes grade as a juvenile this daughter of
Ilovethiscity dropped back to a maiden for the "soft kill" and did it nicely at
Benalla on Monday.
Plenty To Like had been poor at the start in her first two runs at Caulfield
and Moonee Valley over 1000m before tested at stakes level in two subsequent
runs in the Talindert Stakes and St Albans Stakes.
She wasn't up to the task then but stuck to her guns at her first three
year-old start when beaten three lengths first-up by the stakes winner Sweet
Sherry at Moonee Valley on August 20 and with some improvement and the class drop
she was too good at Benalla.
A half-sister to the stakeswinning Stoker (Written Tycoon) from a half-sister
to Golden Slipper winner Prowl, Plenty To Like was a $70,000 buy for Boomer
Bloodstock from the Woodside Park draft at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
Ilovethiscity is a Group
One winning three year-old that is completely free of Danzig blood and a
grand-son of one of Victoria's favourite sons in Zeditave and has a pedigree

From a renowned female family that has produced champions Lonhro and Lankan
