International powerhouse Godolphin was not alone in cheering home the $13 chance Fitou in Friday's Listed Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) at Wyong.
Back in May, Godolphin sold Fitou's dam Vintner for just $6,000 to Tasmanian M Van de Weg at the Inglis Australian Broodmare sale.

Coming down the extreme outside, the 5yo daughter of Street Cry (IRE) defeated a rallying Tears In Heaven (Domesday) by one and a quarter length with another three-quarter of a length back to La Muse (Snitzel) in third.
In earning her first stakes win, Fitou advances her overall record to 5 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third from 15 starts with earnings of $222,335.
A half-sister to stakes-placed Perfect Drop (Quest For Fame), who was runner-up in the Group 1 AJC Oaks and Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes, Fitou is the fifth foal of the Hennessy mare Vintner, whose unraced dam Dane Vintage (Danzero) a half-sister to the champion Triscay.
Vintner has a 2yo Bernardini colt named Vineyard and foaled a filly by Animal Kingdom (USA) last spring before being bred back to Bernardini (USA).
Fitou becomes the 107th stakes-winner for reigning champion Australian sire Street Cry (IRE) (pictured) who died in September 2014.
