Sun Stud is proud to announce that David Grant has been appointed Operations Manager, effective from today (1 September).
A highly experienced operative who has been Sun Stud Victoria's stud manager and stallion manager for the past seven years, David's skills cover every aspect of the industry, having previously been nominations manager and yearling manager for Sun Stud.
David was also stud manager for Devon Park and Emirates Park in Victoria and in terms of international experience, spent three years at the Irish National Stud.
"David is a natural for this position," Sun Stud's Managing Director, Danielle Cheng, enthused. "He has a wealth of experience in every facet of the industry and, importantly, is a great networker and familiar with our all our clients, both in Victoria and Queensland."
With the stallion season opening today, David is looking forward to the months and years ahead: "We have the premier lineup of stallions in Victoria and Queensland and it should be a busy season, but Sun Stud also has vast interests with many good racehorses both locally and overseas and, of course, we'll again have a presence at major yearling sales in 2017."
