This month's New Zealand-based catalogue from gavelhouse packs plenty of punch with a prime pin-hooking opportunity in the form of a Tavistock yearling colt, a mare in foal to Tavistock and a share in Melbourne Cup winner Shocking among the 61 lots on offer.

Lot 2 – correct and strongly built Tavistock yearling colt bred on the same cross as Gr.1 Rosehill Guineas winner Volkstok'n'Barrell. X-rays available.Cross Examine

Lot 4 – a nice turnover prospect being a colt by Super Easy from stakes-placegetter Queen of the Castle.

Lot 19 – Mooghamir, a Pour Moi colt who placed at two and has some upside going into his classic year.

Lot 39 – Cross Examine, a nicely conformed Cape Cross mare in foal to Tavistock.
