Famous Visitors for Famous Colts

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday August 23
Champion jockeys Hugh Bowman and Tommy Berry were among the guests at the Coolmore stallion parades on Sunday.

A stunning son of reigning champion sire Street Cry (IRE), Pride of Dubai broke his maiden at his third start when brilliantly winning the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.

He then followed up with a dominant victory in the Group I ATC Sires Produce Stakes at Randwick where he was partnered by Hugh Bowman.

Closely related to champion sire Invincible Spirit and another top class sire in Kodiac, Pride of Dubai was foaled and raised at Coolmore for his breeder Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa and has had sire prospect written on him from day one.

Also foaled and raised at Coolmore for his breeder John Camilleri (Fairway Thoroughbreds), Vancouver was bought by the best judges in the business from the Coolmore draft at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale, snapped up by Gai Waterhouse/ James Harron Bloodstock.

An unbeaten 2YO, who started with a victory in the Listed ATC Breeders Plate in the spring and finished with the Group I ATC Golden Slipper, Vancouver was ridden in all but one start by Tommy Berry.

A son of champion sire Medaglia D'Oro (USA), Vancouver is one of two Group I winners from lue hen producer Skates, a daughter of Champion 3YO Filly Skating.
