New Winner for O’Lonhro

Promising Victorian sire O'Lonro has a rising staying star in the shape of O'Lonera and also featured at Sale on Thursday with a smart winner in Big Phil.

The Greg Eurell trained three year-old was second at his only two previous runs earlier this year in April, but returned from a spell a stronger horse.

He started favourite and scored a neck win in a very competitive 1200 metre maiden.

A homebred for his trainer and partners, Big Phil is the first winner for Golden Snake (USA) mare Phil's Ophidian.
