After showing promise when second on the Geelong Synthetic track on July 22, So You Think colt Kaching broke his maiden in style over 1400 metres at Bendigo on Sunday.
Settled back midfield on the fence by Nicholas Hall as the rank outsider One Eye Watching set a solid pace, the Ciaron Maher-trained colt peeled out to the centre of the track on the turn and put the race to bed in a matter of strides.

A $430,000 purchase out of the Willow Park Stud draft at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale, Kaching combines the blood of two modern day champions.
He comes from the first crop of the 10-time Group 1 winner So You Think out of the stakes-placed Desert Sun (GB) mare Sun Song a three-quarter sister to 3-time Australian Horse Of The Year and 4-time NZ Horse Of The Year, Sunline.
Only one So You Think yearling has been purchased for more than the $430,000 needed to secure Kaching (pictured as a yearling) who is a half-brother to two winners including the stakes-placed Zombie Dancer (Encosta de Lago).
