A bay colt by triple Group I winning miler Charm Spirit (Invincible Spirit) is the first foal from the first crop of his sire to be born at Windsor Park Stud this spring.
The colt (pictured below with Rodney Schick) is out of the Fastnet Rock mare Bryony, a sister to last season's Group I winning 2YO Heroic Valour and half-sister to Group I Doncaster Handicap winner Triple Honour.
Bryony will return to Charm Spirit, the highest earning son of champion sire Invincible Spirit (Green Desert) who sired his 14thindividual Gr.1 winner, Signs Of Blessing, at Deauville in France last weekend.
"I'm wrapped with this colt", said Windsor Park studmaster Rodney Schick, who recently inspected the first European based weanlings by Charm Spirit.
"Like his Northern Hemisphere foals this fella is a really good sort just like his sire".
A debut winner from just two starts, Bryony is owned by Sheikh Fahad's Qatar Bloodstock who raced Charm Spirit to win six of his nine races including Longchamp's Gr.1 Prix Du Moulin and Ascot's Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth 11 Stakes, both races over 1600m.
Charm Spirit stands his second season at Windsor Park Stud having recently returned from his first season at the Aga Khan's Haras de Bonneval stud farm in France.
