Newgate Farm's Australian Horse of the Year Dissident
is the first son of leading sire Sebring to go to stud and his first foals are
finding favour at every turn.
A precocious two year-old that won the Listed MRC Blue Diamond Preview on debut over 1000 metres, Dissident went on to rack up five Group I victories from 1400 to 1600 metres proving himself an outstanding sprinter miler.
His appeal to breeders is obvious and having covered 197 mares last spring, Dissident will have a stellar first crop to launch him on the racetrack when these babes turn two in 2018.
