Farm's exciting young shuttle sire The Factor (USA) added a fourth winner to
his tally when promising colt Fact Finding produced a winning debut at Saratoga
on Saturday.
The Todd Pletcher trained grey tracked the leader and accelerated smartly down
the running to win the six furlong maiden by two and a quarter lengths.
A $100,000 Keeneland September purchase, he was then re-offered at the
Tattersalls Breeze Up Sale in the UK where he made 350,000 guineas and runs for
a syndicate that includes the Coolmore partners and Stonestreet Stables.
Fact Finding is the third winner for stakes-winner Sweet Belle and is the
fourth winner for his sire The Factor joining Fun Factor, Iron Mane, Senora Acero.
A dual Group I winning son of War Front, The Factor returns to Newgate Farm
this spring at a fee of $16,500 and will have his first yearlings at
Australasian sales in 2017.
