the 1000 metre maiden as favourite.
Fourth at her first start when drawn wide and luckless behind subsequent metro
Saturday winner Thronum, Vienna Romance has plenty of ability and can obviously
handle wet ground which can be an asset heading into spring.
Vienna Romance is the second foal and second winner for Viennese Lass, an
unraced three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group I winner and sire Snitzel from
the family of stakes-winner Snippets Lass and her other star stakes-winning
offspring Hinchinbrook and Viennese.
Kitchwin Hills sold the current yearling from Viennese Lass, a filly by Husson
(Arg) at Magic Millions for $230,000 to Millsy Girls Racing/ Gerald Ryan.
Vienna Romance's sire Duporth has been hot to trot of late siring 15 winners
sicne the start of the month and stands at Jindera Park at a fee of $6,600 this
spring.
