He was duly sold and now stands at Jindera Park stud in Southern NSW at a fee of $6,600 (down from $11,000 in 2015).
He is not a sire to be dismissed however with his yearlings in 2016 selling to $115,000, Duporth is really establishing himself as a successful and consistent young sire with his oldest crop only four.
From that first crop he has an
enviable record of 64% winners to runners, 7.1% Stakes performers to runners,
with average earnings of $65,000 per starter!
In the past seven days alone, Duporth has sired seven individual winners, including Flemington Stakes winner RUETTIGER (1st All Victorian Series Final, LR, 1200m), and has had a further seven place-getters in the past seven days, including Braces, 2nd last Wednesday at Canberra, he backed up successfully just one week later to claim today's $40,000 TAB.com.au handicap (BM 67), 2200m, at Warwick Farm.
Duporth's red letter week was kicked off last Wednesday with his Tony Golan trained filly Dee Nine Elle (3yo f Fantastic Light) scoring by 5 lengths in theSchweppes Bm67, 1250m, at Canberra – a race he had the quinella in with another daughter, Gone To Paris (3yo f Gold Brose), finishing 2nd.
There followed a pair of winners on Friday; Precision Timing (3yo g Al Maher – 1st Pakenham BM64, 1600m) and Timeless Lady (3yo f Commands – 1stIpswich Maiden P, 1350m), followed by another brace of winners on Saturday, namely the Flemington Stakes winner RUETTIGER (4yo g Zabeel) and Eminent Knight (3yo g Danehill), a 6 length maiden winner (1625m) at Toowoomba. Duporth had just one runner on Tuesday and one on Wednesday with both saluting – Timing (3yo f Al Jaasi, 1st Wyong Class 1 H., 1100m) and the afore mentioned Braces (4yo g, O Reilly).
A proven Stakes sire of 2, 3 and 4YOs, Duporth has also proven to be a consistent source of 2YO winners with his first three crops, siring five individual 2yo winners in Australia this season to-date – that is more than Fastnet Rock, Medaglia d'Oro, Stratum, Sepoy etc.

He looks likely to add to that tally in the very near future following his unraced 2YOs Red Notice (2yo g Danewin) and Lady Chalfont (2yo f Woodman) both winning their respective barrier trials at Hawkesbury on Monday.
Duporth stands alongside Va Pensiero, Fast 'N' Famous, Nom Du Jeu, and Illustrious Blue at Jindera Park, near the NSW/VIC border, so is ideally situated for both BOBs and VOBIS breeders.
