Last year's Group I Golden Slipper Stakes winner Vancouver has been retired and will not race in Europe this season.
The Coolmore-owned three-year-old will stand at stud in the Hunter Valley where he is advertised at $66,000.
Vancouver was due to make his debut for Aidan O'Brien in the Group II Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh on May 21, but was ruled out of the race with poor blood profile.
O'Brien told the Racing Post that setback proved too big an obstacle ahead of the Royal meeting in two weeks time.
"His bloods failed to improve as quickly as we might have hoped so he missed more work last week and this week," O'Brien said.
"Unfortunately we've now run out of time to get him ready for the Diamond Jubilee and the July Cup. It's very disappointing as he looked very special on what we'd seen of him at home and we were looking forward to running him."
Coolmore Australia's Tom Magnier said the son of Medaglia d'Oro will be returning to Australia soon.
"It's a major disappointment that Vancouver won't be running at Royal Ascot but he is proving very popular with breeders so we're keen to get him here as soon as possible," Magnier said.
"He'll enter quarantine in Newmarket next week and will be on the farm here in Coolmore Australia by mid-July."
Vancouver was unbeaten in four starts as a two-year-old, all of them at stakes level and culminating in the Golden Slipper Stakes defeating subsequent Group I winner English.
He finished fourth to Japonisme in the Group III San Domenico Stakes at his only start at three.
