A poor blood count prevented Vancouver making his European debut at The Curragh on Saturday.
Vancouver had been slated to start in the Group III Greenlands Stakes over six furlongs however trainer Aidan O'Brien told the Press Association an unsatisfactory blood count meant the three-year-old missed the race.
"It's unfortunate as we were keen to run him with Royal Ascot in mind." O'Brien said.
The Group I Diamond Jubilee Stakes over the straight six furlongs on June 18 has been listed as the most likely race for Vancouver at the Royal meeting followed by the July Cup at Newmarket.
