Promising Denman
filly Majestic Faith is headed to the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale
next month, but made a winning return to racing on Thursday with an
authoritative three-quarter length victory in an 1100m maiden at Gosford.
Starting a short priced favourite after a recent strong trial at Randwick she
was ridden a treat by Blake Shinn and duly saluted for her breeders Don and
Judy Kelly.
The Peter and Paul Snowden trained filly has a win and three placings from six
starts so appeals as a racing and breeding proposition.
Majestic Faith is a full sister to exciting prospect Faith's Encore, who won
most impressively on debut at Warwick Farm on May 4.
Both fillies were bred and retained to race by Don and Judy Kelly and were
foaled and raised at Crowningstone.
Majestic Faith and Faith's Encore are three-quarter sisters to stakes-winning
juvenile Black Minx and half-sisters to stakes-placed More Than Faith being
from former classy Group II winning Danehill mare Faith Hill.
Majestic Faith will be offered for sale at the upcoming Magic Millions National
sale as Lot 502 in the race fillies and mares section of the catalogue
consigned by Riversdale.
