Daniel Moor gave Super One a glowing endorsement after leading all the way to land Saturday's Group III DC McKay Stakes (1100m) at Morphettville.
"He's come here today in excellent order and the scary thing is there is improvement to come," Moor said after Super One led ($7) all the way to defeat Daytona Grey ($10) by 1-1/2 lengths with Heart Of A Lion ($10) three-quarters of a length off third.
"He's had a good blow off that which you would expect. It might not have looked that impressive but he's come home in 33 (seconds) and change.
"Riding for Lee and Anthony Freedman I've ridden some fast ones and potentially he could be the fastest."
Unbeaten in four starts in Singapore, Super One had throat surgery following his unplaced effort behind Japonisme in the Group I Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington last November.
The first two home in the McKay earned exemption from the ballot for the Group I Goodwood Handicap in two weeks' time over 1200 metres.
Moor said he was confident the three-year-old son of I Am Invincible would cope with the extra distance.
"We identified last preparation speed is his best weapon and you need to let him roll along," Moor said.
"He got there comfortably today and I thought if I could ramp it up from the bend they wouldn't be able to run us down.
"He gives me a phenomenal feel, trackwork, trials and now on race day. He gives me a feel no other sprinter has and the world is his oyster.
"There's improvement to come and the extra distance won't worry him."
