CHOUX has made a flying start to his stud career, which
currently sees the New Zealand Derby-winner New Zealand's Leading First Season Sire by stakes earnings. Jimmy
Choux is represented in New Zealand by his exciting Group 3 winning son Manolo Blahniq and Group 2 placed filly What Choux Want . In Australia the
five-time Group 1 winning son of the champion sire Thorn Park has sired two
impressive winners and a placegetter, from just four to race. Jimmy Choux's fee
will increase to $12,500 + GST for
the 2016-17 season.
Foundation stallion PENTIRE has had another stellar year highlighted by Prince Of Penzance's magnificent victory in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup, and then Xtravagant's two record breaking Group 1 victories. With four months of the season left, Pentire comfortably holds second position on the prestigious New Zealand Dewar Stallion Trophy award for combined Australia and New Zealand stakes earnings. Pentire is New Zealand's leading active sire of individual Group 1 winners (14) and will serve a limited book in 2016 at a fee of $10,000 + GST .
Our dual Group 1 winning Street Cry stallion SHOCKING received a significant boost to his stallion profile by siring a Group 1 classic winner from his first crop. His daughter Fanatic's victory in the New Zealand Oaks has confirmed that Shocking looks set to become one of our next great Cups and Classic sires. He has already sired four stakes performers and 22 individual winners from his first crop of three year olds. The 2016 fee for Shocking represents outstanding value at $8,500 + GST .
Multiple Australian Group 1 performer PROISIR was retired to stud last season, the same year his sire Choisir was honoured with induction into Australia's Racing Hall of Fame. Proisir was himself regarded as an exceptional talent by those closest to him during his brief racing career, and he has received excellent support at stud from Australian and New Zealand breeders. Finishing his initial stud season with a quality book of 145 mares , Proisir's first crop two-year-olds can be expected to hit the race track in force. Astute breeders can capitalise by supporting him again this year at an unchanged fee of $7,000 + GST .
