A proven Group I producing sire that has left 22 stakes-winners and progeny earnings topping $33million, Magic Albert will be missed at Yarraman, but will enjoy greater opportunities at his new home.
"He's been a great servant for us and has delivered success for his supporters on the track and in the sale ring over many years," said Arthur Mitchell.
"His owner Denis Wilton is delighted with the move as Magic Albert will enjoy the benefit of being a proven commercial sire with a new pool of broodmares to service, offering the chance of further success in his twilight years."
Magic Albert is still going strong with recent Group III winner Alberto Magic adding to his tally of stakes-winners and his yearlings selling for up to $140,000 this year.
"We have always had a great relationship with Stuart Lamont and his family going back to Bureaucracy, who stood at Yarraman before ending his days at Kooringal," Mitchell added.
"Magic Albert will have every chance to continue his success down south."
