Premium Draft for Great Southern

Red hot demand for quality youngsters at weanling sales this year will mean this premium draft at the 2015 Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale - two by Foxwedge, one each by first season sires Excelebration (IRE) and Your Song as well as a filly by champion first season sire elect Hinchinbrook – will be a must inspect.

Consigned by leading NSW Southern Highlands based nursery Rheinwood Pastoral, these BOBS eligible youngsters are all in the Platinum Session and are presented with x-rays and images.

Foxwedge had the top priced offering at the 2014 Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale, a lovely colt from Ekleel that made $175,000 and then was re-offered at the recent Magic Millions National Yearling Sale where he also set the pace fetching $340,000.

The foundation sire for Newgate Farm, Foxwedge is a brilliant Group I winning sprinter by Fastnet Rock and his progeny have been super popular at the yearling sales this year with an impressive 83 of them selling across all sales at an average $139,259. Click here to see them.

They have entered many of the best stables in the country and will enjoy a second to none chance to bring success on the track for their young sire in the new season.
