50th Winner for I Am Invincible

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday June 3
Yarraman Park's red hot young sire I Am Invincible posted his 50th individual winner of the season at Balaklava on Wednesday and he did it with yet another two year old in Bilzerian.

Bilzerian as a yearlingTrained by Lloyd Kennewell, Bilzerian was having his first run back from a spell following an unplaced debut back in January and snatched a short head win in the 1055 metre maiden with some four lengths back to the third horse.

Bilzerian was a $30,000 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Summer Book purchase for his trainer from the Fairview Park Stud draft and is the first foal of metro winning Choisir mare Life of the Party, who comes from the family of Champion 2YO Victory Vein.

Bilzerian is the 15th two year-old winner for I Am Invincible, who is second to only Snitzel on 19 for individual juvenile winners.

With over 50% winners to runners this season, I Am Invincible goes from strength to strength with his star son Brazen Beau set to fly out of Melbourne later tonight bound for Royal Ascot.
