Snitzel
has been churning out the juvenile winners this season adding an 18th to the tally when well bred filly Parmalove scored a tenacious debut win at
Seymour on Wednesday.
Trained by Peter Morgan and Craig Widdison, Parmalove did best in a thrilling
finish to win the 1100 metre scamper by half a head.
A $200,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock from the draft
of Two Bays Farm, she was a successful pinhook having been originally bought as
an Inglis Select Weanling from the Lustre Lodge draft for $115,000.
Bred by Brent and Judy Hudson, Parmalove is a half-sister to stakes-winners
Liesele and Loved Up being the fifth winner from Group II placed Dehere (USA)
mare Love's Here, who was covered again by Snitzel last year.
Snitzel has had another fee increase this year and will cover another full book
at $88,000 at Arrowfield Stud this spring.
