Oamaru Force Strikes Gold

Media Release - Monday March 23
Oamaru Force has proven that he is the best value sire in Victoria by producing the winner of the $250,000 VOBIS Gold Rush race for two year olds.

Oamaru ForceTwo year old The Big Dance (Oamaru Force x Curzon Dancer) treated her rivals with contempt at her first start, beating rivals such as the stakes placed Miss Gidget. The Big Dance won by 2¼ lengths and stopped the clock in 56.79 seconds in the 1000 metre event.

The Big Dance was breed by Noor Elaine Farm. Curzon Dancer the dam of The Big Dance currently has a colt at foot by Easy Choice and is in foal to promising young stallion Unencumbered.

The Big Dance was purchased at the 2014 Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale from the Noor Elaine Farm draft for just $750.

We wish connections the best of luck with this progressive filly.
