Black Caviar Dam in Foal

Blue Gum Farm is delighted to announce that Gilgai Farm's Champion Broodmare Helsinge is safely in foal to five time Group I winner and World Champion Miler Canford Cliffs (IRE), who had his first Aussie bred yearling sell at Magic Millions on Wednesday.

Canford Cliffs x AlterationHelsinge is of course the dam of the incomparable Black Caviar and the Champion 3 year old All Too Hard. Her last two yearlings have fetched $5 million and $4 million respectively at the Australian Easter Yearling Sales.

Also in foal to Canford Cliffs from his 2014 southern hemisphere season are the stakes winners Isabella Snowflake, Exceedingly French, Manna Miss, the daughters of stakes winners Nediym's Glow, Country Lodge, Typhoon Billie, Social Glow, Miss Kournikova, Princesa, etc., the full or half sisters to stakes winners Star Of Giselle and Solicit, The Hind and Oregon Star, Decircles, Fast'N'Famous, Turffontein, Bird Of Fire, Kirramosa, Oakleigh Girl, Silent Impact, Feel The Noise, Vocabulary, Inkster, etc.

Canford Cliffs first Irish conceived yearlings sold fantastically well late last year making up to Aus$500,000.

His first Australian yearling offered realised $100,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale yesterday.

His only representative at this sale, the bay colt (pictured) from the three time winning Pins mare Alteration was secured by Atlantic Jewel, Whobegotyou, Maldivian and Shocking's trainer Mark Kavanagh.

Canford Cliffs is represented by 18 first crop members at the upcoming Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
